Stefan, 46, was born in Heilbronn, in the South-West of Germany. He attended the Technical University of Karlsruhe and received his master of science in chemical engineering in 1994 and a PhD from the Karlsruhe Nuclear Research Center in 1998.
Stefan joined The LINDE Group in 1999 as a process engineer and made his way up the career ladder, eventually taking on the responsibility for LINDE’s natural gas processing & LNG business as Vice President. Major contracts from a variety of customers in Norway, South-Africa, Romania and Australia fall into his tenure.
In 2007 Stefan joined E.ON. His is mission was to build E.ON’s LNG business serving as Chief Operating Officer of E.ON’s LNG Business Unit responsible for all aspects of project development and implementation along the LNG value chain.
In 2011 Stefan took on the role as Executive Vice President and Division Head at FERROSTAAL responsible for the Group’s Oil & Gas business leading a number of foreign subsidiaries. Stefan’s mission was to turn the business around re-establishing trust with employees, works council, customers, shareholders and banks.
Following a change-of-control at FERROSTAAL, Stefan decided to leave FERROSTAAL and in 2012 joined GE as Business Leader for GE Germany’s Oil & Gas business and Key Account Director for GE’s most important customers in country.
In 2014 he joined ILF Consulting Engineers as Managing Director, responsible for ILF’s Oil & Gas business.
